CLIMATE: Zurich lies in the temperate climate zone and has four distinct seasons. The summer months between June and August (average temperature is around 21 degree) are the best time to visit Zurich though it also makes it one of the most costly holiday seasons. The winter months between December to February are off season and city is usually visited by skiers and snowboarders.

Schaffhausen:
Located in north-eastern Switzerland, Schaffhausen is a capital city of Canton situated on the river Rhine, next to German border. Being a small city it can be easily explored on foot. The symbol of mediaeval Old Town of Schaffhausen, Munot fortress is visible from distance. The houses of the Old Town are richly decorated with oriel windows and lavishly painted facades with many of them dating from Gothic and Baroque times.

Lucerne: Lucerne is a compact city in central Switzerland located on Lake Lucerne surrounded by snowcapped mountains. Museum Rietberg: The Rietberg Museum is the third-largest museum in Zürich that primarily focuses on non-European art and design in Switzerland. The collection of Museum is frequently complemented by temporary exhibitions. It is located in Rieterpark in central Zurich.

Great Minster (Grossmunster): Located in the old town, the Grossmünster is a Protestant-Reformed church and is among one of the four major churches in the city. The church is open daily though timings on Sundays are restricted.

Planned by Thorwaldsen in 1820, the landmark recognizes the demise of 26 officers and in excess of 700 troops of the Swiss Guards, warriors who were executed in the course of protecting King Louis XVI amid the assault on the Tuileries in the French Revolution in 1792.
